Founded in 1972, Downtown Community Television Center, Inc. (DCTV) is a nonprofit media arts center. Our services and programs meet the needs of youth, aspiring, emerging and established filmmakers. Services include complete post production facilities, continuing education media workshops, a highly regarded youth media training program, and a documentary screenings series. We are finishing construction on a state-of-the-art 70-seat cinema devoted to the documentary artform. These offerings are invigorated by our award-winning, in-house documentary production team.


Development and Data Associate

DCTV's Development and Data Associate is responsible for supporting the fundraising team with project management, data collection and grants administration. They report to the development director, and support ongoing institutional fundraising and individual giving campaigns, as well as data collection from all departments for grants writing and reporting. A critical part of a small team, candidates must be highly organized with strict attention to detail, and an interest in filmmaking and social justice. Experience with Salesforce preferred. Associate Technical Director

We are seeking an Associate Technical Director who will provide technical support and assistance to facility-wide internal/external stakeholders. This position may be asked to work (or be on call) occasionally on nights and weekends. Please see here for full application details + requirements.

Workshop Instructors

DCTV is always seeking freelance instructors on a rolling basis for our hands-on adult workshops in Graphic & Web Design, Producing, Video Production, and Video Post-Production. Please learn more about our Workshops here.

Qualifications: All applicants must be working professionals with teaching experience, able to give our students an in-depth introduction to the industry’s leading software and technology. Applicants without any teaching experience will not be considered.
