PRO-TV Alumni Screening a Success!

The July 22nd PRO-TV Alumni Screening was a tremendous success, showcasing some of the best new work by our exceptional alumni. Some highlights included: James Duarte’s Do Something PSA on substance abuse, his 48 Hours of Horror, directed and edited in 48 hours, Anthony Limongi’s Marketing Minorities, produced through the Reggie Pedro’s Young Men of Color in Media program, exploring how minorities are exploited in branding and marketing, Iemi Hernandez Kim’s short experimental video, MOO and Jamal Hodge’s The Wife, a narrative short that explores the consequences of extramarital affairs. The second half of the program screened The Undocumented, a story about the lives lost as many attempt to cross the borders into the United States assistant edited by Iemi Hernandez Kim, Rosalino Ramos and Gilberto Francisco’s Seis Jueves, a documentary about a Mexican township celebrating Saint Guadalupe, and Sandra Appiah’s Homecoming, about coming to terms with disowning her African heritage and learning how to love it after traveling back to Ghana.
