Two 2011 PRO-TV Senior Fellows Screen at the Irvine International Film Festival

Congratulations to Emily Lu and Derek Horton (2011 PRO-TV Senior Fellows)! Their films (Where Is He? and Hatred To Your Home, respectively) screened at the Irvine International Film Festival on January 15, 2012.

Where Is He? details Emily’s quest to overcome her shyness and find the perfect boyfriend. She discovers that her career and education yield the path to the most important relationship she could have, the one with herself.

Hatred to Your Home recounts Derek’s struggles growing up in East New York faced with muggings, violence and people who discourage his ambitions. He fears that his neighborhood will prevent him from achieving his dreams, but is determined to succeed.
