Woody Allen, Alfred Hitchcock, Richard Pryor, The Simpsons, Steven Spielberg, Sesame Street, Gordon Parks, David Bowie, Frank Sinatra, Michael Moore, Orson Welles, 60 Minutes, John Frankenheimer, Janet Jackson…the list goes on and on.

What do they have in common? They all have work in the permanent collection at The Paley Center for Media. Now it's your turn to become a part of history and have your work screened and archived side-by-side with these great talents.

Docu-Jam 2018 is a unique youth documentary showcase presented by the Paley Center, in association with DCTV in New York.

We seek outstanding documentaries produced by young people across the country. Selected documentaries will be screened at the Paley Center on June 1, 2018 and will become part of the Paley Center’s permanent collection.

Entries must meet the following criteria:

  • filmmakers must be 21 years old or younger
  • documentaries must be less than 15 minutes in length
  • documentaries must have been completed after June 1, 2015
  • entries are limited to three per organization/group/school
  • Submissions will be accepted online (Please Follow the DOCU-JAM Video Format Guidelines on the Submission Form)

Each entry must accompany a SUBMISSION FORM

Submissions must be postmarked by May 4, 2018.

Admission is free for the June 1st screening but RSVPs are required for groups. Please email to reserve seats.
