DCTV Stands with the AAPI Community

March 19th, 2021

DCTV condemns yet another act of terrorism and inhumanity in the face of the tragedy in Atlanta, Georgia on March 16th, 2021. We stand with our Asian American and Pacific Islander friends and neighbors, and are committed in fighting against all forms of discrimination, misogyny, and white supremacy.

Since the pandemic's start, Asian Americans have experienced a dramatic increase in incidents of targeted harassment and violence. We must raise our voices and our cameras to document injustices, speak out, and support Asian communities and organizations.

DCTV was founded to use media to combat discrimination and to give equal opportunity to all. Here are some of the films that we have made over the years around these issues, including the latest work by our Youth Media filmmakers, and hope that you can share them and use them as a resource.
