Hellooo Summer!

Rachel Baron | May 25th, 2021

It’s been over a year since our beloved filmmaking workshops went remote. We’ve been grateful to keep the learning going virtually as we kept our workshops small in size and low in cost. Here’s a sneak peak of a few highlights we have in store.

Multimedia journalist LaToya Tooles returns to lead the ever-popular Audio Storytelling (starts Mon 6/7). After several in-demand Fair Use workshops, documentary filmmaker and lawyer Paul Moon will be back to lead a new workshop he helped create: Music Licensing (Wed 6/16) explores the relevant laws around music rights in documentary film.

Plus, we’re adding a much needed splash of color to this summer. You may be familiar with our Office Hours, offering unstructured advice on topics like gear and editing. They’re back, but this time for Office Hours: DaVinci Resolve Color (Thu 7/1). With this primer, you can head to the full workshop for DaVinci Resolve: Color (starts Tue 7/13) or expand your palette a little further with our brand new Film Color Theory (starts Tue 7/27).
