Catherine Martinez

Like so many DCTV staff members, Catherine Martinez started at DCTV as an intern back in 1995. During her previous 8 year tenure as Director of Finance and Distribution, she managed the distribution of DCTV's extensive videotape library, updated the financial accounting system, developed an effective membership database, and designed and built DCTV's first website.

Catherine Martinez returns to DCTV after a four-year stint at Orient-Express Hotels, where she led an in-house team of creative people, and worked as part of an executive think-tank to build strategies for every aspect of the hotel business. In this position she increased the online business at an annual growth rate of over 40%.

Ms. Martinez brings a unique combination of in-depth knowledge of DCTV's community-based programs and services and executive corporate business leadership experience to the position of DCTV's Managing Director.
