New HBO documentary follows NYC’s ‘canners’ | The Cycle

Filmmakers Jon Alpert and Matthew O’Neill join The Cycle to share details about the documentary that follows people who cash in on actual trash to survive.

About The Cycle:

"The Cycle" - msnbc’s new show – is hosted by an ensemble of msnbc contributors featuring: Toure, author, S.E. Cupp, a social and political commentator, Steve Kornacki, writer for and Krystal Ball, a former congressional candidate. The Cycle is a “TIS” show – topical – interesting and smart. It is about our world - everything from politics, the economy, the media, sports or anything people are talking about. The ensemble cast will drive the show and along with the guests they invite on add a dimension of discussion that will inform and spur the imagination of the viewers. The program is headquartered at msnbc studios at 30 Rock. Steve Friedman is the executive producer.
