Established filmmakers of color share the paths and process they have taken to become a creative force in their field.

The transition from high school to college includes a lot of tough decisions: What school would be the best fit for me? Where will I find the money to pay tuition? We have answers.

As part of its Media Literacy Screening Series, PRO-TV is presenting films as "conversation pieces" that explore diverse topics each month. PRO-TV offers these screenings to raise awareness and to initiate honest dialogue amongst high school students.

This month, PRO-TV presents youth-created documentaries that showcase the importance of education, even when the obstacles seem insurmountable.

The Image of My Perception, Ashley Turzio

The culmination of PRO-TV's Summer Media Intensive, screening student films exploring the epidemic of gun violence in New York City. The Summer Media Intensive is a six-week program where students will learn how to become citizen journalists and learn the basics of video production. This year, PRO-TV conducted workshops with New Yorkers Against Gun Violence and experts who work with young people to develop stories based on the consequences of possessing guns in the United States.
