Congratulations to Emily Lu and Derek Horton (2011 PRO-TV Senior Fellows)! Their films (Where Is He? and Hatred To Your Home, respectively) screened at the Irvine International Film Festival on January 15, 2012.

DCTV Post is pleased to help get the word out that several of our clients will be showing in the Starz Denver International Film Festival that starts tomorrow.

Last week, DCTV director Jon Alpert attended the Traverse City Film Festival with unexpected results. Invited as a panelist and to present China's Unnatural Disaster: the Tears of Sichuan Province, the festival took a surprising turn as a select group of the participants met to discuss the current state of documentary work and its future in cinemas.

For ten years, DCTV and the Paley Center have presented outstanding documentaries produced by young people across the country. Selected documentaries will be screened at Docu Jam in the 2010 Television Documentary Festival and will become part of The Paley Center’s permanent collection.

My New York, by an exceptional group of students from PRO-TV Media Fellows Class of 2011, will be screening as part of the Asian American International Film Festival at the following times: Friday, July 16th at 4:00pm and Saturday, July 17th at 12:00pm at The Museum of Chinese in America, 215 Centre Street, New York 10013.
