Just in time for summer meet “that special someone” who can help you with your next project. Our popular speed dating-style networking event puts professional independent filmmakers in the same room for 3-minute conversations, this time for BOTH DOCUMENTARY AND NARRATIVE productions. Sit down for twenty-five 3-minute conversations with other professional filmmakers & crewmembers looking to meet like-minded individuals to work & create with.

Please note: This event is for individuals already working professionally in their craft. Individuals qualified in more than one discipline may apply to multiple disciplines with a single application form.

HOW TO APPLY:
Please download and complete the Hook Me Up! Application form located here and email the completed form along with your resume to hookmeup@shootingpeople.org. The deadline for accepted applications is Sunday, June 1st.
5 individuals from each category (listed above) will be accepted to the event. Accepted applicants will be notified via telephone and email on Tuesday, June 3rd.
There is a $30 non-refundable enrollment fee for accepted applicants, and payment must be received on or before Friday, June 6th in order to hold your place at the event.
HOW THE EVENT WORKS:
7:00PM-7:30PM - Doors Open & Check-In
7:30PM-9:00PM - Hook Me Up!
• Attendees will be divided into 2 groups by discipline (Documentary, Narrative)
• Attendees will then be divided into 5 subgroups by category (Directors, Producers, etc)
• Each attendee will have a 3-minute face-to-face with the 25 individuals outside their
category (Ex. Documentary Directors meet with other Documentary Categories – Producers, Editors, DPs, Sound Recordists, VOCs)
9:00PM-10:00PM - Networking & Complimentary Cocktail Hour
