About the Junior Fellowship Program


Students in this program learn the basics of documentary filmmaking, including camera operation, editing skills, interviewing and media literacy. Additionally, they curate Docu-Jam, a youth documentary film festival. The Junior Fellows also produce a collaborative documentary.

About the Advanced Fellowship Program


At the Advanced level students learn the art of documentary filmmaking through intensive studies in camera operation, lighting, sound, editing, research, interviewing and more. Advanced Fellows create two original video projects: a group project, where they share researching, directing, shooting, and editing duties and an individual piece.
