Best of PRO-TV 2016

Thu, 01/12/2017 - 6:30pm
DCTV, 87 Lafayette Street, NYC

Doors 6. No admittance after 7.

DCTV's PRO-TV is the largest, most honored free media arts training program for youth in New York City. Offering free training workshops since 1978, PRO-TV provides positive creative outlets for young people to address the issues affecting their lives and their communities.

While there really is no such thing as "best" when it comes to something as subjective as art and filmmaking, we still wanted to highlight some of the many phenomenal works our youth made this past year. Best of PRO-TV 2016 is a program of 8 short films that all come from very personal perspectives reflective of growing, learning, challenging and accepting oneself.

Many of the filmmakers will be in attendance and join us for a Post-Screening Q&A.
