Confines That Bind
April - June 2016
The national prison population has quadrupled since 1980 to 2.2 million. As part of our DCTV Presents series, we present Confines That Bind, a strand of events focused on incarceration and criminal justice reform. Showcasing new documentary films followed by discussion, we seek to rethink crime and punishment, and shed light on stories beyond bars.
Confines That Binds is made possible by support from the Manhattan Community Award Program through the Manhattan Borough President, Gale A. Brewer’s, office.
