The culmination of PRO-TV's Summer Media Intensive, screening student films exploring the epidemic of gun violence in New York City. The Summer Media Intensive is a six-week program where students will learn how to become citizen journalists and learn the basics of video production. This year, PRO-TV conducted workshops with New Yorkers Against Gun Violence and experts who work with young people to develop stories based on the consequences of possessing guns in the United States. College Jam is directed toward young people looking to apply to college, particularly with a focus on media/communications, film/video, and the arts. The information presented will address students from a wide range of academic backgrounds and we would like to invite your young people to join us.
