Reflections Me: PRO-TV's Media Fellowship Screening

Thu, 07/24/2014 - 6:00pm
DCTV 87 Lafayette, Street, NYC

PRO-TV, DCTV's free professional media arts training program, offers NYC youth opportunities to create films, attain skills in digital video production and post-production, as well skills in leadership, team work, project management, research, public speaking, and professional development. It is an invaluable outlet for media literacy, self-advocacy, and social justice through the art of filmmaking.

Join us for a night of new, original documentaries featuring our Senior Media Fellows, our most advanced group of media-makers. In these highly personal films, students turn the camera on themselves, documenting their successes, their failures, and the lessons they are learning as they reflect on their lives. As a special bonus we will also be screening a selection of films from our Junior and Intermediate Fellows.

Please join us this evening to celebrate the work of these emerging artists!

Post-Screening Q&A

Following the screening students will answer questions from the audience about their films, their process, and their experience in the Media Fellowship Program.

Admission is free, but RSVP to Esther Cassidy at or (646) 484-4633.
Space is limited. First come first served.
Doors 6:00pm | Event 6:30pm
