Short Takes looks at the current landscape for short film filmmakers, taking in everything from the impact of new technologies on short form content to festival strategy for shorts to the best ways to use short films to aid your feature-length work.

Acclaimed directors Dustin Guy Defa (Bad Fever), Terence Nance (An Oversimplification of Her Beauty), Lauren Wolkstein (Social Butterfly), Ryan Koo (Manchild) and Jeremiah Zagar (In a Dream) share their experience and expertise, with Filmmaker magazine's managing editor Nick Dawson moderating the conversation.
