Have a Business Credit/Debit Card

In order to open a Business Account with DCTV Rentals, you must be the cardholder of a business credit/debit card.

Become a DCTV Member

DCTV Rentals is one of the only rental houses in New York City that does not require production insurance! In return however, we require that you are a DCTV Member in order to rent from DCTV. Membership is only $25/year, and can be applied for at the same time you make your reservation. Details here.

Please note, your membership will not apply to your proxies.

Open Your Business Account

Call to schedule a meeting with our Rentals Coordinator, available M-F, 10am–6pm, to come into our office and fill out all the applicable paperwork.

You are required to bring the following:

• 1 Primary Government Issue Photo ID
  (Accepted: Drivers License, State ID Card, Military ID Card, Passport)
• 1 Secondary ID
  (Examples: 2nd Primary ID, Work ID, Employee ID, Union Membership Card)
• Business Credit/Debit Card
  (Accepted: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover) All credit/debit cards must be in the name of the DCTV Member who is declaring themselves as the primary account holder. This business credit/debit card provided will be used by DCTV to pay for all equipment rental transactions.

  DCTV reserves the right to hold photocopies of all aforementioned materials for the duration of your active membership.

• List of Proxies
  You are allowed to designate up to 3 individuals to act as proxy representatives for this account. These proxies will be able to pick up and return equipment on your behalf, only.

Make a Reservation

Familiarize yourself with How our Pricing Works. Then, simply call 212-966-4510 x632. This guarantees that the equipment will be available and ready at the time of check-out. A $50 cancellation fee will apply to any reservation cancelled less than 48 hours before the scheduled check-out time.

Same-shift rentals will incur additional fees and are based on availability.

Please Note

Only the primary account holder, and not your proxies, are allowed to make reservations, cancellations, extensions, etc. In other words, you are the only one authorized to be in contact with our Rentals department.

Check Out Equipment

It is your responsibility to notify your proxies to bring the following at the time of check-out:

• 1 Primary Government Issue Photo ID

• 1 Secondary ID
  (Examples: 2nd Primary ID, Work ID, Employee ID, Union Membership Card)

  DCTV reserves the right to hold a photocopy of both forms of identification on file for the duration of your active membership.

An authorization hold will be placed on your business credit/debit card for 110% of the estimated cost of your rental (based on duration of reservation). This amount will be held on your card for the duration of the rental.

Check In Equipment

Please allot time for us to review all returned equipment to ensure it is in the same condition that it was in when rented to you.

Once the equipment has been reviewed, the actual rental cost will be charged to your business credit/debit card, and the remaining funds from the authorization hold will be released from your card.

In the case that equipment is deemed lost or damaged, you will be responsible for the cost of its replacement or repair.
