JACKSON HOLE FILM FESTIVAL SHORT FILM COMPETITION Submission Deadline: 5/1! Moviehatch.com empowers the film community by hosting online video competitions where filmmakers and film lovers can upload, watch and rate short films and film and tv pitches. The online public then votes on which ones go into production or receive film festival awards. This latest competition is looking for short films (Documentary, Live Action or Animation) with a shot at the Jackson Hole Film Festival's coveted Cowboy Award and a screening at their festival (6/5 - 6/9). Submit your project today to the "Project Forum" of Independent Film Week, formerly known as the IFP Market, being held 9/14 - 9/19 in NYC. The Project Forum is comprised of three sections for new works in development: Emerging Narrative (writers, directors seeking producers), No Borders (producers with partial financing) & Spotlight on Documentaries (filmmakers in production or post). Approximately 150 projects are invited to take more than 2000 pitch meetings and network with over 1000 industry professionals annually. If selected, participation is FREE.
