Alter your visuals with sensors, audio, and other control data with Max. By learning this specific visual programming tool, you can explore interactive filmmaking that includes video mixing, motion sensing and multi-channel exhibition. When you experiment with Max, your project can emerge out of the black box theatre, imagine different environments, and invite audiences to interact with your story. Combine cinematic grammar with this powerful computational toolbox for another visual experience.

Size: 6 students | Duration: 12 hrs
Note: This is not a computer engineering workshop. Some knowledge of logical arrangements is an asset.
Materials: All you need to bring is yourself! We provide every student with a workshop curriculum and a 27-inch iMac with 5K retina display running Cycling ‘74 Max 7.2. Personal equipment is not permitted.
All DCTV Workshops have limited enrollment and require pre-registration.
