Eric Phillips-Horst

Workshop Instructor

Eric is a producer and cinematographer based in New York. Some of his featured work includes broadcast television (PBS, Biography Channel, MTV, Nickelodeon, Arte France), documentary and independent festival circuits (HBO NY and LA Latino, Nashville, Orlando, Portland Women's, Nantucket) and numerous online publications (The Atlantic Monthly, Huffington Post, TED Talks, Indiepix, Boingboing).

International experience includes documentary work in Europe and Asia, and principal photography and field-production for features in Egypt (The Pyramid Code), Serbia (Brasslands) and New York (Stages).

He is a founding member of three filmmaking collectives: Brooklyn Filmmakers, Meerkat Media, and The Goddamn Cobras.
