María Villaseñor

María Villaseñor is a print reporter turned video journalist who dabbles in all media, really. She started as a community reporter at The Salt Lake Tribune in Utah, then went to the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism to learn more about video.María produces, shoots and edits her own short, docu-style videos and subjects include a plumber-artist, an asthmatic family struggling with mold in their home, and Harlem hackathon. She has also help create video for Condé Nast publications, the NYTimes dining section, the NY Daily News and Voices of New York. María recently completed an investigative reporting fellowship on mold in NYC public housing. You can see more of her work here.
