Tim Szetela is a Brooklyn-based designer, animator, and mapmaker, who documents and visualizes location, language, data, and code.

He has produced digital content for a variety of companies and organizations, including NBC Universal, the ASPCA, WaterAid, and the City of New York, and has collaborated with numerous artists and filmmakers on projects that have been screened and exhibited internationally.

He has taught courses and workshops in media production, design, and technology at several universities, including Harvard University, NYU, SVA, and the Monterrey Institute of Technology in Querétaro, Mexico. He received his master's degree at NYU's Interactive Telecommunications Program and his BA in Visual & Environmental Studies at Harvard University.
