Registration for Online Workshops + Office Hours

DCTV Online Workshops + Office Hours have limited enrollment and require pre-registration, therefore your space will not be held until payment has been received in full. At that time, you will be issued a confirmation email. We’re currently accepting credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover) or PayPal via our website.

    How to Register:

Choose your preferred sliding scale rate from the dropdown menu, and then add the workshop to your cart. Note that it is not necessary to create a PayPal user account. Upon Checkout, select the “Debit/Credit” option, or login to your PayPal account.

    Registration Details:

    • Only the person who is registered for a workshop may attend. No other person may attend in their place.
    • You may only purchase one spot in any given workshop. If you are interested in registering 2 or more spots in any given workshop, please see our Custom Training for Groups.
    • If you are interested in registering a person other than yourself, please use their contact information, and bill to whomever is paying.
    • Separate purchases must be made for each person registering for a workshop.
    • Auditing of workshops is not permitted.
    • Participants must be 18+ years of age. If you are interested in our youth programs, please see PRO-TV.
    • DCTV reserves the right to accept or deny requests for enrollment in workshops at its discretion.

    • You need a computer or other device that can connect to the internet and support Zoom video conferencing. You can find recommended system specs here.
    • Please check the Required and Materials sections on your Workshop’s webpage, as each online workshop may require you to have specific software/equipment requirements.
    • Your Zoom confirmation email will provide you with the link to the online workshop, your curriculum, and any media you may need to download in advance of your workshop. Note that some workshops have outside assignments or screenings, and those details can be found in your curriculum.
    • You will either receive a unique password-protected link to a Zoom webinar, that can only be used once, or a password-protected link to a Zoom meeting with a waiting room. Please do your best to join your workshop on time, and no more than 30 minutes late. There is no guarantee that you will be admitted into the workshop if you are more than 30 minutes late. We can try to accommodate lateness with advance notice if you contact workshops -at- during business hours.

    "Classroom" Conduct

    • DCTV prides itself for its inclusive environment. All workshop participants are expected to treat everyone with respect and dignity while engaging in DCTV-related activities. Individuals who do not follow this policy may be asked by a staff member or instructor to leave the online workshop.
    • We try to record all Workshop and Office Hour sessions. By registering, you consent to have DCTV record your image and voice, and use such recordings in all media in perpetuity as they see fit. If you would like to view the recording, please email DCTV Workshops to request the link. Note that a link to a session recording will expire one month after the session date.
    • Students are not permitted to record audio or video of DCTV Workshops themselves.
    • Please be considerate of the instructor and your fellow students. We encourage you to participate in the workshop, and to make sure other people get a chance to speak as well. We ask that you mute your microphone when you’re not speaking if there is excess noise in your location.

We understand that emergencies and last minute changes happen. Note that we are also serving many people and want to ensure fairness and keep prices low.
