In Case of Inclement Weather

DCTV tends to follow NYC Public School closures, but please check DCTV's Twitter or email for our latest updates.

DCTV Workshops have limited enrollment and require pre-registration, therefore your space in a workshop will not be held until payment has been received in full. At that time, you will be issued a confirmation email. We accept credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover) or cash. No checks accepted.

How to Register:

Online (preferred): Register via our website. Note that it is not necessary to create a PayPal user account. Upon Checkout, select the “Debit/Credit” option, or login to your PayPal account.
By Phone: Call DCTV Workshops at 212.966.4510 x646.
By Appointment: Make an appointment to register in-person with our Workshops Manager during office hours. We cannot accommodate walk-ins.

Registration Details:

  • Only the person who is registered for a workshop may attend. No other person may attend in their place.
  • You may only purchase one spot in any given workshop. If you are interested in registering 2 or more spots in any given workshop, please see our Custom Training for Groups.
  • If you are interested in registering a person other than yourself, please use their contact information, and bill to whomever is paying. You must choose the rate based on their DCTV Membership status.
  • Separate purchases must be made for each person registering for a workshop.
  • Auditing of workshops is not permitted.
  • Participants must be 18+ years of age. If you are interested in our youth programs, please see PRO-TV.
  • DCTV reserves the right to accept or deny requests for enrollment in workshops at its discretion.

  • All workshops take place at DCTV: 87 Lafayette Street, New York, NY 10013.
  • We provide all materials (including equipment and computers) unless otherwise noted. Please check the Required and Materials sections on your Workshop page. Other personal equipment is not permitted. Curriculum is provided during workshops on eReaders. Therefore, all you need to bring is yourself (plus a pen and notebook if you'd like!)
  • Upon arrival, report to your assigned classroom and check in with your Instructor.
  • DCTV is a secure facility. Please arrive to your workshop on time, and no more than 30 minutes early or late. There is no guarantee that you will be admitted into the building otherwise. We can try to accommodate lateness with advance notice if you contact DCTV Workshops during office hours.
  • In the case of inclement weather, DCTV tends to follow NYC Public School school closures. See DCTV Cancellation details below.

  • Guests are not permitted to meet or wait for you in our facility.
  • Animals (with the exception of service animals) are not permitted in our facility.
  • No food or drinks are permitted in the classrooms.

We understand that emergencies and last minute changes happen. Note that we are also serving many people and want to ensure fairness and keep prices low.
