You’re working with footage shot in Log or another high dynamic range. How will this affect your post-production workflow? While HDR footage can mean extra steps along the way, it can also save you time and energy, salvaging detail in your final image.. Get an overview of several ways to adjust Log and other HDR footage in post, whether quickly using LUTs or more in-depth grading with Resolve or After Effects.

This is a Production workshop at the Extensions level and a companion workshop to Log Footage: Production.

  • Log and Other HDR Modes v. Rec709
  • Ways to Work with Log and HDR footage
  • Adding/Adjusting LUTS
  • Tips For Grading Log Footage

Capacity: 6 students | Duration: 3 hrs

Prerequisite(s): Prerequisite: Familiarity with Premiere, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve is required.

Materials: All you need to bring is yourself! We provide all equipment and are committed to a 2:1 student to camera ratio. Personal equipment is not permitted.
