Editing Techniques

How can you assemble footage in a way that your audience will understand and respond to? Where do you start a cut, and where should a clip end? Whether you’re new to editing or have been at it for a while, you might not know certain lingo or the reasons why some edits work to achieve your narrative objective while others fall short.
