DCTV Video Post-Production Workshops have 1-student-per-workstation and are taught with Apple and DCTV training materials on 27” quad-core iMacs running OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard and Final Cut Studio 3. Students are expected to be familiar with the Mac interface and are not permitted to bring personal projects for workshop use.

This is an in-depth workshop designed for those who want to start learning non-linear editing with Final Cut Pro. Learn basic system setup, the FCP7 interface, overwrite and insert editing, assembling and trimming sequences, logging and capturing DV material, and more. Intro to Final Cut Pro establishes a foundation of technical knowledge and hands-on experience required to be an effective editor. Hands down, our most popular workshop!
