Unlike a large master class, students’ projects are used as the framework for round-table discussions, offering a unique opportunity to gain invaluable knowledge from working producers. Students also receive DCTV reference materials and resources.
Size
2 - 12 students
Duration
3 hrs
Beyond the Workshop
Upon enrollment, students receive a 25% DCTV Presents Discount.
One of the most intimidating aspects of producing is navigating the many laws that limit what you can shoot, edit and broadcast. In Keeping it “Legal,” gain a better understanding of fair use, public domain and copyright; licensing footage, music and stills; and obtaining permits/releases. Make the law work for you. Note: Open to filmmakers of any genre.
