Digital Cinematography

Digital Cinematography presents the big picture of lighting and camera work in the context of a project or set. Experiment with composition to decide which framing and depth of field works best for the style, scene, and genre you wish to shoot. Learn additional advanced manual image control techniques on the Sony FS700, and practice key shooting exercises using both natural and artificial light to harness your cinematic eye.

Capacity: 8 students | Duration: 9 hrs

Prerequisite(s): Camera Fundamentals and Lighting Fundamentals or equivalent experience is required.

Materials: All you need to bring is yourself! We provide all equipment and are committed to a 2:1 student to camera ratio. Personal equipment is not permitted.

All DCTV Workshops have limited enrollment and require pre-registration.
