Lighting Fundamentals

The proper use of lighting equipment can make the difference between an amateur production and a professional one. Practice various basic set-ups and learn how cinematographers and gaffers use light to tell a visual story. This essential workshop covers electrical safety, on-set terminology, and principles of light, all while providing hands-on opportunity.

Capacity: 8 students | Duration: 6 hrs

Prerequisite(s): Camera Fundamentals or equivalent experience is required.

Materials: All you need to bring is yourself! We provide all equipment and are committed to a 2:1 student to camera ratio. Personal equipment is not permitted.

All DCTV Workshops have limited enrollment and require pre-registration.
