Docu-Jam

Youth-Curated Documentary Film Festival
For over ten years, DCTV and the Paley Center have presented outstanding documentaries produced by young people across the country. Selected documentaries will be screened in October at Docu-Jam during the Paley Center’s PALEYDOCFEST 2011, as well as become part of The Paley Center’s permanent collection.
What Students Learn: Docu-Jam features youth films from all across the nation and is curated by PRO-TV students who learn to: host a screening, introduce films and moderate Q&A sessions, understand films and how they can effect change, examine the filmmaking process, identify what constitutes a well-crafted film and critique films.
