Media Literacy Workshops

In our stand-alone media literacy workshops, teaching artists and peer educators screen selections of youth-made media on a variety of topics, leading discussions around the issues presented – such as gun violence, body image, immigration, homelessness, relationships, and more – while helping students cultivate critical viewing and media literacy skills. When possible, these workshops are co-facilitated by a PRO-TV student filmmaker.
