PRO-TV alum screen films about their experiences on the Peace Boat's 88th Global Voyage.

We’ve been back from Russia for a short time now and as I reflect back on the trip, I ponder about the life-changing journey our youth filmmakers from the Truth From Youth project experienced during this cultural exchange.

We have only been on the road for two days but already I see a maturation in the five American youth producers and know
they will be transformed by this experience and it will enhance their lives forever.

Join us as we present a series of youth-produced original films that explore social and cultural experiences faced by American and Russian youth.

The Truth From Youth project was developed to enhance international collaboration skills and cultural awareness of youth reporters in Russia and the US through creation of video reports on youth-related issues in both countries.

Major kudos to former PRO-TV student Jamal Hodge whose film, The Kind Ones, was accepted into the Cannes Film Festival’s Short Film Corner!

What’s happening NYC! Since the weather is warming up we figured it isn’t too early to spring into something new and share some exciting news with you. This summer we have five PRO-TV filmmakers, five Russian news correspondents and one world full of social challenges to tackle!

Pro-TV’s youth film producers boldly picked up their cameras, courageously shared their stories with the nation and are now preparing for the New York Emmy Awards on Saturday March 19.
